Your Job Summary:
The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer role is responsible for providing technical leadership in the formulation and execution of cloud architecture. This role will be working with the cloud app hosting team focusing on Pivotal Cloud Foundry. They will be participating in key architecture and Cloud-based infrastructure decisions across the organization; including developing processes, procedures, policies, and standards for Cloud and Automation services. Additionally, the Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will be designing and building Infrastructure Management tools for assigned tools.

Your Background: 
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Technical Certifications or related. Additional years of direct job-related experience will be considered in lieu of advanced degree and/or certifications.
Requires 3-5 years experience in Information Technology standards, procedures, policies.
Requires 2+ years of experience running Pivotal Cloud Foundry, with additional experience preferred in Cloud Foundry in Azure and/ or Ansible and AWS.
Requires experience with technologies related to "As a Service", Cloud Orchestration and Management, Monitoring and Event Management, and Automation.
Operations Management experience.
Experience with ITIL v3.
Experience with PMO structures, processes, and methods.
Experience with Demand / Portfolio and Resource Management.
Requires basic understanding of business priorities, trends, and markets.
Requires in-depth knowledge of software development life-cycles and their utilization in software projects.
Requires basic communication and interpersonal skills; with the ability to work constructively in a collaborative environment.
Requires understanding CI/CD concepts and practical implementation.
Previous experience in the healthcare industry a plus. 
Your Duties:  
  • Leverage proven experience as a senior software engineer with project leadership experience
  • Lead a small team to ensure project work is reviewed, tested and delivered on time
  • Participate in architectural decisions and infrastructure deployment of our Cloud-based platform
  • Be a servant leader within a cross functional agile development team
  • Evangelize developed best practices, software development techniques, and frameworks with other teams within the organization
  • Responsible for designing and developing all layers through a vertical slice of the applications
  • Responsible for automating all layers of testing (unit, integration, functional, etc.)
  • Responsible for working in a highly collaborative environment with a strong emphasis on pair programming and shared responsibility tasks
  • Identify and implement best practices and company standards for software development
  • Continually build the skills of colleagues through peer collaboration, mentoring and training
