Certified ServiceNow Administrator Job Summary: 
  • Serve as the Certified Service Now Administrator, including ServiceNow version of Istanbul 
  • Leverage expertise to perform core configuration tasks 
  • Utilize analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to communicate/express technical issues to a wide variety of users
  • Apply knowledge of User Interface (UI) policies, data policies, UI actions, business rules and client scripts 
  • Functionality/CAT Testing 
  • Apply knowledge of Use mobile clients and Activate plugins 
  • Functional operations (Adding users, groups and modifying roles, etc.) 
  • Manage data with tables, the configuration management database (CMDB), import sets and update sets 
  • Use process applications like Knowledge Base & ServiceNow Service Catalog 
  • Create workflow activities and approvals 
  • Configure alerts and notifications 
  • Review upgrade history and status 
  • Control system access and data security 
  • Run reports, configure service level agreements (SLAs) and perform instance branding and customization 
  • Daily administration, maintenance and Change Management/Change Control 

Certified ServiceNow Administrator Background:   
  • 3 years’ experience as a Certified Service Now Administrator, including experience with ServiceNow version of Istanbul 
  • Expertise to perform core configuration tasks 
  • Prefer, but does NOT require, a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or related field 
  • Detailed knowledge of applicable security policies and standards 
  • Development experience is a plus
  • Ability to communicate to a wide variety of audiences, both business and technical 
  • Requires expertise in ServiceNow certified, Funcationality/CAT Testing, UI, Istanbul version
