Executive Coach Job Summary: 
  • Manage the needs assessment, design process, development, implementation and evaluation of the professional executive development in partnership with the leadership team.
  • Designs, develops, and implements effective training materials and programs using proven educational concepts / learning methodologies.
  • Manage operations of designated programs and learning activities.
  • Consult and assist with internal leadership development periodically.
  • Leads comprehensive annual and ongoing executive learning needs assessments to align curriculum to current and future critical capabilities.
  • Utilize a variety of methods to promote learning including the following: professional coaching; case studies; reflection; facilitation; in-person; virtual; and live simulation.
  • Deliver learning activities and programs.
  • Build relationships and networks within the organization and external to Intermountain to attract and retain premier faculty, partnerships, and to gain access to emerging thought leadership and research.
  • Participates in the recruitment, development and evaluation of internal and external faculty. May have direct reports associated with program operations and management.
  • Shares responsibility with the Executive Team for the continuous improvement of the content, approach and operations of programs and services offered by the Institute.
  • Serves as a recognized expert in healthcare leadership and leadership development, inclusive of assisting or leading research on the effectiveness of leadership development approaches.
  • Publish, speak, and consult on findings.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of online learning resources and computer-based tools.
  • Serve as a professional executive coach.
  • Model learning agility through personal professional development, continuous learning, resilience, well-being and improvement. 
Executive Coach Background: 
  • Master’s degree in a relevant healthcare, organizational development or psychology, or education field.
  • Prefer Certified in Instructional Design & eLearning, and/or Professional Coaching credential (ICF)
  • At least 7 years of experience developing leadership curriculum, facilitating leadership learning and building effective relationships and networks.
  • Around 2-3 years of experience working in healthcare or with healthcare professionals.
  • Proven experience in the design and delivery of leadership development learning activities
  • Word processing, flowchart, presentation and spreadsheet experience at a demonstrated expert level.
  • Experience with project management; prioritizing projects, meeting deadlines, and effective implementation.
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Skilled facilitator and speaker
  • An ability to think strategically and analytically. Logical and practical approach to problem solving.
