Software Developer Job Summary: 
  • Under general direction, conceptualize, design, test, and implement portions of business and technical information technology solutions through application of appropriate software development/deployment life cycle methodology.
  • Interact with the customer to gain an understanding of the business environment, technical context, and organizational strategic direction.
  • Define scope, plans, and deliverables for assigned projects.
  • Collect, identify, define, and organize detailed user and information technology requirements.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with others in analyzing collected requirements to ensure that plans and identified solutions meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Confirm and prioritize project plans and deliverables with the customer.
  • Participate in business and technical information technology solution implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and conversions.
  • Understand and use appropriate tools to analyze, to identify, and to resolve business and or technical problems.
  • Apply metrics to monitor performance and measure key project criteria. Prepare system documentation.
  • Establish and maintain security, integrity and business continuity controls and documents.
  • Participate in special studies.
  • Stay current on emerging tools, techniques and technologies.
  • Assist information engineers on application of specialized knowledge to coding, testing, implementation and documentation projects.
Software Developer Background:   
  • Minimum 7-10 years using Middleware Tools
  • Bachelor Degree preferred and Master a plus.
  • Expertise and hands on experience in HPE Operations Suite, Connect Direct Series, VM Ware, Blade Logic and Remedy.
