Leadership & Development Consultant Job Summary: 
  • Engages in the development of managers, teams and employees to achieve organization performance results. 
  • Consults with all levels of management to develop the culture of extraordinary care and improve operations through team building, group problem solving, strategic planning, meeting management, role clarification, conflict management, and other organization behavior methodologies.
  • Engages leaders to complete needs assessment and consultation to design and facilitate Leadership and Organizational Development interventions across the system.
  • Partners with operations leaders to facilitate system-wide implementations.
  • Measures employee performance to gauge success of programs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assures continuous improvement from pilot to implementation by sharing learnings and assist with communications planning.
  • Serves as a recognized expert in organization, management and individual development.
  • Utilizes best practices in organization behavior/development to improve individual, team and organization effectiveness.
  • Continually evaluates the effectiveness of interventions in relation to measured results.
  • Consults around change management activities including organizational redesign, process consultation, leader assessment, and system-wide integration of key functions and employees.
  • Supports succession planning and talent management processes in conjunction with HR leaders and operations leaders.
  • Works closely and effectively with operational and client HR team members to properly implement and facilitate leadership coaching and leadership development programs.
  • Provides coaching to managers to support Individual Development Plans.
  • Designs and facilitates leadership development and employee learning experiences and formal training.
Leadership & Development Consultant Background: 
  • Master’s degree in a relevant healthcare, business, human resources, organizational behavior, organizational development, and/or organizational psychology field.
  • Roughly 5 year's experience in organizational development, change leadership, process consultation and leadership development.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience developing leadership curriculum, facilitating leadership learning and building effective relationships and networks.
  • Prefer around 2-3 years of experience working in healthcare or with healthcare professionals.
  • Proven experience in the design and delivery of leadership development learning activities
  • Word processing, flowchart, presentation and spreadsheet experience at a demonstrated expert level.
  • Experience with project management; prioritizing projects, meeting deadlines, and effective implementation.
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Skilled facilitator and speaker
  • An ability to think strategically and analytically. Logical and practical approach to problem solving.
