Manager of Quality Management Job Summary:
  • Lead, design, and support the quality program including clinical quality, patient safety, and continuous readiness to assure quality care and regulatory compliance.
  • Work with hospital leadership to develop and implement quality improvement action plans.
  • Function as an SME for quality methodologies, facilitating, coaching, and supporting quality initiatives.
  • Responsible for identifying appropriate solutions for clinical initiatives in a timely manner and is actively involved in process redesign and re-engineering.
  • Assist and support Quality initiatives. Responsible for the safety coach program and National Patient Safety Goal initiatives.
  • Manage the enterprise-wide interpreter services program.
Manager of Quality Management Background:
  • Does NOT require Registered Nurse (R.N.) license, but it is a plus.
  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Roughly 3-5 years’ experience in healthcare Quality Management, with emphasis on clinical quality data and measurement, interdisciplinary support, and performance improvement.
  • At least 1-3 years previous management experience, in roles of increasing responsibility, which included hiring and supervising clinical or non-clinical personnel.
  • Strong computer proficiency (MS Office) and typing skills are necessary.
  • Skilled in influencing, leading and directing individuals in multiple functional areas.
  • Able to transform assignments from high-level objectives into independently established detailed goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as exceptional critical thinking skills.
