The information security solutions architect will be versatile SME who can function across many technologies, processes, and has the ability to use prior experience, and learn newer concepts and weave them into the fabric of the customer's unique environment.

Will have or will demonstrate the ability to develop the following skills:
  • Maintaining awareness of Security Industry trends, including recent breaches, new or re-occurring attack vectors, and current research initiatives.
  • Practical knowledge, and the ability to provide support in the areas of:
    • security concepts
    • networking technologies and the integration with security
    • process and integration improvement/enablement scripts
    • cloud applications, and security implications
    • vulnerability management
    • process improvements in general
    • enterprise security infrastructures analysis and documentation
    • Governance, Risk and Compliance, including working knowledge of Federal regulatory concerns
    • security policy assessment & development
    • managed security services
    • threat and risk management strategy
    • security data aggregation and analytics
    • identity and access management
    • DDOS attack detection and mitigation
    • architecture security assessments, hands-on and review based to develop criteria, assess, and validate security architectures
    • configuration management
    • ITIL process
    • design and develop logical and physical security architectures.
    • develop security reference models and reference architectures.
    • identify and analyze functional and nonfunctional security requirements.
    • integrate technical, managerial, financial, and policy issues into customer solutions.
  • The candidate must be able to obtain Public Trust Clearance.
  • Past experience working in a fast paced customer facing operational environment is preferred.
  • The candidate will be required to serve on an on-call rotation on an as needed basis and when necessary be available to assist with emergency incidents relating to customer's environments on a 24x7 basis.
  • The candidate should have excellent communication and writing skills and will be asked to generate technical and executive level briefings for the customer.
Required skills and certifications:
  • Exposure to multiple operating systems (Windows and Unix variants), scripting, java/python/etc coding preferred, 
  • Security certifications include security products related certifications, Security+, CISSP, ITILv3, etc.
  • Candidates with experience in an ITIL based highly regulated environment (financial, healthcare, government, etc.) environment along with experience with a service ticketing system preferred.
  • Preferred locations for staffing are Auburn Hills, MI and Boise, ID.
