Job Summary:

Oversees the clinic operations for the organization. Builds and maintains best in class clinical operations that deliver high quality outcomes and experiences for the organization’s diverse patient populations across many services lines including medical, dental, behavioral health, health support services and ancillary support services. Collaborates with the executive team on short and long term strategic plans for the organization. Is a change agent that drives organizational transformation.

Position Description:

Establishes, maintains, and reviews of all aspects of the operations to identify areas of opportunity and risk and coordinating strategies with executive team members.
Provides leadership in identifying, implementing and evaluating initiatives that align with organizational objectives and strategic direction.
Evaluates and recommends operational objectives to enhance operational excellence and participate in prioritizing and implementing strategic objectives.
Recommends opportunities for business development in the clinics by developing strategies to increase volume to existing services and/or patient access or identifying new patient services.
Integrates changes in organizational structures, processes, or systems by facilitating the integration and acceptance of change; establishing a plan to integrate a new organizational
structure or process by assigning resources, tasks and accountabilities; and building a cohesive team that is committed to the successful integration of a new organizational structure or process.
Drives a culture of continual improvement by identifying and making recommendations for improving quality of patient services and cost-effectiveness as well as ensuring success in meeting and exceeding key clinic operational metrics.
Oversees the integration of patient service delivery throughout operations and explores strategies for improving the efficiency of service delivery.
Provide leadership and develop management teams that deliver exceptional patient care; successfully implement business strategies and achieve quality, growth and other objectives.
Develops a course of action or set of goals to ensure successful realization of organizational strategies.
Analyzes information, generating alternatives, and committing to decisions that are consistent with organizational strategies.
Establishes a plan to execute an organizational strategy by prioritizing and assigning resources and accountabilities.
Coaches, supervises, and provides long-term mentoring to, clinic operations leadership and other direct reports.
Participate in Board of Directors functions, as requested.
Participate in the development of the Annual Budget.
Oversee the development and presentation of the operations budget, including projections for staffing and capital equipment. Justify variances in budget.
Participates as appropriate in periodic review of practice management functions, e.g., reception, call center, telephone triage, patient flow, outreach service, and tracking systems.
Attends meeting as required and participates on committees as directed.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Background Profile:

Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field. master’s degree preferred.
Familiarity with Medicaid managed care practices and policies, NCQA requirements.
Expertise in directing multiple clinical sites specializing in ambulator care, community health, and/or PACE facilities.
