Job Summary
As an HR and Payroll Administrator, you will work specifically with internal employees, external clients and vendors, and potential candidates in the areas of Compliance, Compensation and Payroll, Recruitment, Benefits, New Hire Onboarding, and other general Human Resource administrative functions.  The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of these areas with a desire to grow your knowledge of the HR and Corporate Recruiting field.  The daily duties of the position are:
  • 35% spent on pre-employment background and compliance checks for candidates
  • 35% spent on payroll functions and timesheet management
  • 20% spent on weekly financial report generation related to compensation and payroll
  • 10% spent on general HR administrative duties such as unemployment claims, general data entry, assisting with internal hiring needs, personnel files and record-keeping, new hire onboarding and orientation including tax forms, I-9 forms, benefits elections, and assisting recruitment of candidates for our internal positions.  Also participates in HR related projects such as employee engagement surveys, incentive and recognition programs, policy updates, company and charity events, etc.
